ਤਿਨਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਾਮਦਾਸੁ ਸੋਢੀ ਥਿਰੁ ਥਪ੍ਯ੍ਯਉ ॥

Thin Sree Raamadhaas Sodtee Thhir Thhapyo ||

तिनि स्री रामदासु सोढी थिरु थप्यउ ॥

Then, He firmly established the Great Raam Daas of the Sodhi dynasty.

ਉਨ੍ਹਾ ਨੇ ਫਿਰ ਸੋਢੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਰਾਮਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਪੱਕੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਅਸਕਾਪਨ ਕਰ ਦਿਤਾ।

ਗੁਰ ਬਿਨੁ ਘੋਰੁ ਅੰਧਾਰੁ ਗੁਰੂ ਬਿਨੁ ਸਮਝ ਨ ਆਵੈ ॥

Gur Bin Ghor Andhhaar Guroo Bin Samajh N Aavai ||

गुर बिनु घोरु अंधारु गुरू बिनु समझ न आवै ॥

Without the Guru, there is utter darkness; without the Guru, understanding does not come.

ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਝੋਂ ਅਨ੍ਹੇਰਾ ਘੁੱਪ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਝੋਂ ਸੋਝੀ ਪਰਾਪਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ।

ਗੁਰ ਬਿਨੁ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਨ ਸਿਧਿ ਗੁਰੂ ਬਿਨੁ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਨ ਪਾਵੈ ॥

Gur Bin Surath N Sidhh Guroo Bin Mukath N Paavai ||

गुर बिनु सुरति न सिधि गुरू बिनु मुकति न पावै ॥

Without the Guru, there is no intuitive awareness or success; without the Guru, there is no liberation.

ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਗੈਰ, ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਬ੍ਰਹਿਮ-ਗਿਆਤ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਮਯਾਬੀ ਪਰਾਪਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਗੈਰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਲਿਆਣ ਦੀ ਦਾਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਦੀ।
